Heat tracing and insulation.
Specified for your process.

Choose electric heat-traced tubing for freeze protection and sample lines, steam-traced tubing for temperature or viscosity maintenance, or pre-insulated tubing for steam and fluid transport.

Electric tracing

An electric heater within the insulated bundle supplies heat for freeze protection or temperature maintenance.

Steam tracing

A steam tracer transfers heat to the process tube for temperature or viscosity maintenance.

Explore range

Pre-insulated

Reduce heat loss during steam, gas or liquid transport, without an integral electric heater.

TUBING FAMILIES

3

Electric tracing, steam tracing and pre-insulated tubing. Choose the construction around the duty.

COMMON TUBE SIZES

4

¼, ⅜, ½ and ¾ inch outside diameters are listed across the range. Availability depends on the family.

STAINLESS STEEL

316/316L

A common process-tube material. Copper and fluoropolymer options are also listed, depending on construction.

ELECTRIC HEATER LIMITS

85–204°C

Published operating limits span low-temperature self-regulating to power-limiting heaters. These are not guaranteed maintained temperatures.

Where construction
meets duty.

The process tube, heating arrangement, insulation and jacket each have a role. Consider them together around the fluid, temperature and installation.

Electric tracing tubing construction detail

Electric tracing

Heat alongside the process tube for a defined freeze-protection or temperature-maintenance duty.

Steam tracing tubing construction detail

Steam tracing

A steam tracer transfers heat to the process tube. Review the supply and condensate return together.

Pre-insulation tubing construction detail

Pre-insulation

Reduce heat loss during fluid transport. Review cold shutdowns separately when active heating is absent.

Define the line.

Bring the process, temperature duty and installation together. Four inputs help shape a complete tubing specification.

Understand what flows.

Fluid & duty
Define the fluid, flow and pressure, together with the required line duty.

Set the temperature duty.

Temperature
Specify the maintained temperature, inlet conditions and ambient extremes.

Consider the complete line.

Tubing & jacket
Review tube count, dimensions, materials, insulation and the jacket environment.
Utilities & route
Confirm power or steam, controls, line length, supports and terminations.
