Preserve the sample journey, not just the tube temperature.
The duty
The June 2026 line card includes analyser and sample-line heat tracing within the self-regulating electric-traced range. A heated line can be considered where the sampling design calls for temperature maintenance between the extraction point and the analyser. The analyser method determines the required sample condition.
Define what must reach the analyser
Provide sample composition, pressure, flow and the required temperature window. Include water content or condensation concerns where relevant, and identify any constituents that must be preserved for measurement. The wetted tube and surface finish must suit the analytical requirement as well as the transport duty.
Review the whole sampling system
Include the probe connection, line length, exposed ends and entry to the analyser or conditioning equipment. For CEMS or other specialist gas analysis, ask PMA to review the dedicated sample-line construction and documentation. A general electric-traced tubing description does not establish compatibility with every emissions-monitoring method.
