The pressure duty belongs to the complete assembly.
State more than normal pressure
Supply normal and maximum operating pressure, the design pressure and any vacuum duty. Identify pressure changes during start-up, isolation, flushing and cleaning. For a steam-traced construction, describe the steam tracer circuit separately from the process tube circuit.
Identify the tube and connections
Outside diameter alone does not define a pressure rating. Material, wall thickness, construction and operating temperature must be checked alongside the selected fittings and equipment connections. Share any required material specification or project documentation with the enquiry.
Review the supplied configuration
Ask PMA to confirm the documented pressure and temperature limits for the proposed assembly. This site does not assign one pressure rating to every electric-traced, steam-traced or pre-insulated line. Any pressure test procedure and acceptance requirements should be agreed for the actual installation.
