Choose the heat source around the process.
For an electrical heat source
Identify the available voltage and supply arrangement, required line length and site electrical constraints. Dekoron offers different heater constructions, including self-regulating and power-limiting options. Ask for the appropriate sensing, control, circuit protection and termination requirements for the chosen assembly.
For a steam heat source
Provide available steam pressure and temperature, continuity of supply and the intended condensate return arrangement. The steam tracer is a separate utility circuit. Review how it will operate during start-up, normal production and shutdown alongside the required process-fluid temperature.
Include the site requirements
Tell PMA about hazardous-area classification, required certification and alarm or monitoring interfaces. Manufacturer references to approved-area options do not mean every assembly has the same approvals. Confirm documentation for the exact heater, accessories and supplied construction.
